This gentle class is suitable for most ability levels and is ideal for anyone who might want or need a little extra care. Chair Yoga is also offered.

This practice is a delightful way to end a work day and to start out the evening feeling relaxed and refreshed.
Saturday Morning – 9:30-10:30am
Greet the day with positivity and joy. Sequences designed to help energize and rejuvenate the body followed afterwards by stillness and relaxation.
Saturday – 10:30-11:30am .
This class offers gentle stretches, mellow movements, and serves to cultivate stillness of the mind, body, and spirit.
I’ve been enjoying Monday evening yoga now for several years with JJ and she always has a smile on her face, a gentle way about her and a professional atmosphere! I leave there renewed and refreshed after a long day at work in the office. I highly recommend Community Yoga with many options from daytime to even Saturday mornings!
I started in the Gentle Stretch class 3+ years ago and now attend the Stretch & Renew class. This is truly one of the best things I do just for myself. JJ does a great job gearing the class to meet our needs as a group and individually. I definitely have improved my flexibility and haven’t had the neck and lower back issues that I was troubled with for years. I look forward to my Monday evenings with JJ to rewind, relax and start a new week!
I recently returned to Community Yoga, after missing about two years. I could tell immediately that I had lost a lot of strength and “stretch”. After my very first day back however, I could already feel my body starting to respond. I continue to feel the strength and flexibility getting better after each class. The new location is amazing. It’s very peaceful (no trucks going by, doors slamming and people talking downstairs), even the sound inside the space is calmer, there’s no echo. It truly helps to heal the body, mind and spirit. And then of course we also have JJ making it the best yoga experience ever!
I have been attending Community Yoga for about 5 years and I absolutely love it! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and the yoga is very relaxing. My neck and shoulders were often tense but after yoga feel loose and relaxed. As a result, I get fewer headaches and just feel better overall. The new location in The Garden adds to the calm, peaceful atmosphere of Community Yoga!
I have enjoyed participating in Community Yoga classes for several years. I usually attend the gentle stretch classes. As I age, two of my top priorities are finding peace in my life and staying mobile by maintaining physical strength and dexterity. Community yoga classes have helped me with both of those. I’ve learned movements that I do both in class and at home on my own. I am now enjoying the peaceful environment of Community Yoga’s new facility in the art garden. As soon as I turn in to this venue, I begin relaxing and leaving any hubbub behind.
JJ is a wonderful and very knowledgeable yoga instructor. She is very accommodating to all skill levels.

Hi my name is Jess and I’ve been attending Community Yoga for 3 months now. I love attending the classes. Everyone is so nice and treats you like family. JJ’s classes are amazing and you will feel peaceful and calm mind, body, and soul. I also attend the Saturday Salutation with Angie. Angie is a wonderful instructor who helps you with anything you need. She also will work with you one on one if needed. Her class is marvelous and leaves you feeling absolutely amazing. I would recommend Community yoga to anyone who enjoys yoga. The family feeling is nurturing and the classes are so enjoyable. I know you’ll really enjoy going. I love attending as many classes as I can.
